Another group of macros for WoW are the ones that fire multiple abilities one after the other by pressing the same macro key over and over again. The template for this type of macros looks like this:
/castsequence reset=(Cooldown timer) (Ability 1) (Ability 2) (etc)
Where it says (Cooldown timer) you have to input the overall timer for the spells you add to the macro. It will need a little tweaking before it works as intended, but once it does, it'll be very useful. You can fire whole chains of skills by only pressing just one button. You won't have to keep reaching out to keys on your keyboard.
There are also all sorts of other macros for WoW. You can add commands for targets, for Focus targets and even mouse over targets. You can also add modifiers to the macros to allow the usage of different spells by simply holding a modifier, like Ctrl or Alt, while pressing the macro.
As you can see, making a macro isn't that hard. You just have to know how to write the commands you need. Since the game is getting bigger and bigger, more abilities will be available and you won't have room to use them all. But by using macros for WoW, you can solve that problem easily.
